2001 Renault Clio V6 [ECC-293]
The Renault Clio V6 Renault Sport was launched in 2001 with a rear mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout on the Renault Clio II. The two-seater mini supercar had a limited run between 2001 and 2005, split into two phases. Phase 1 models were built by Tom Walkinshaw Racing based near Oxford.
Reminiscent of the Renault 5 Turbo of the late-1970s and 1980s, the wide-bodied Clio V6 Phase 1 took drivers from 0-62mph in 6.4 seconds with 230bhp and a top speed of 147mph.
